Sonny Siau Leadership Giving Association
Every community has its leaders - that special group of people who, with a capacity to care and without hesitation, accept the challenge and set the pace, making their community a better place to live. They have a conscience, a concern, and a desire to care for all citizens. In Georgetown County, these such leaders are the elite members of the Sonny Siau Leadership Giving Association.
This association was established by Board of Trustees of the Georgetown County United Way, Inc. in 1988 as a memorial to L. H. "Sonny" Siau, Jr. who, in his 18 yeas of volunteer service to our United Way, embodied a tradition of leadership, generosity and boundless enthusiasm.
Membership in the Pillar Society is a true reflection of your personal commitment to bettering the lives of others in our community
